A Northern Portrait
(documentation from 2012) 28 minutes
A Northern Portrait is an immersive, live expanded cinema performance using nine 16mm projectors. It embodies the need to explore non-hierarchical structures in film and its hybrid perspective serves as a meeting point between colonial and indigenous visions, opening a potential space of decolonization.
A Northern Portrait won Outstanding Inter-Arts Performance at The FAVA Film Awards in Edmnoton in 2013.
